Purple & Plum Hijabs

Purple is our most limited family and the one we are most selective about. Purple goes wrong easily in a scarf — too bright and it fights the face, too grey and it looks washed out. The shades that survive our sampling are the deep and dusty ones.

Deep Plum and Eggplant are dark enough to work as evening alternatives to black. Byzantium and Deep Orchid sit in the true purple middle. Mauve is the softest, a greyed lilac that wears like a neutral in daylight.
